Town of Clifton Park • 2026 Photo Contest
Capture Winter at Vischer Ferry
The Town of Clifton Park is inviting photographers to turn their cameras toward the Vischer Ferry Nature & Historic Preserve for the 2026 photo contest.
That leaves plenty of time to catch changing leaves, the first frost, snow-covered trails, the abominable snowman, or whatever winter decides to give Clifton Park this year.

600+ Acres. A Lot of Possibilities.
Vischer Ferry Nature & Historic Preserve combines wetlands, wildlife, wooded trails, old Erie Canal features and pieces of Clifton Park history along the Mohawk River.
In winter, the same landscape can look completely different from one morning to the next. That makes the preserve a pretty good place to send photographers hunting for one frame worth remembering.
