The circus is coming to town! And it’s definitely not Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. July 10th through the 13th, the Paranormal Cirque will set up shop in the Boscov’s parking lot.
Now, before we tell you how much we here at Clifton Park Spark love Halloween, how much we like overly-realistic horror movies, how often we listen to scary music, and how many late-night cemetery romps we’ve went on over the years.. we want to pass on a warning from past attendees:
MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY
Word on the street is the Paranormal Cirque is not suitable for children under 13. And, guests ages 13 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
Now that we got that HR nonsense out of the way, here are some things to know about this spooky summer event:
Online reviews of the Paranormal Cirque are overall positive, audiences praise the wild stunts (like the “Wheel of Death”), dark humor, and risqué burlesque performances. The event features strong audience engagement, clowns and performers often pull audience members on stage for comedy bits.

There’s also an immersive pre-show haunted house walk-through with flashing lights, loud noises, and scare actors.
A couple cons to note, negative reviews online point to very high cash-only concession prices and, well it is July, so you can imagine that a tent could get hot and stuffy.
Other than that, we hope to see you there!
