MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival Comes to Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library

Clifton Park Movie Festival

The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library will join more than 500 venues across the globe in hosting the 28th Annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival. Local film enthusiasts will have two chances to attend:

  • Thursday, October 2 at 6:00 PM
  • Saturday, October 4 at 2:00 PM

This year’s festival features 10 short films from seven countries, including Spain, Israel, the United Kingdom, Norway, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Mexico, as well as three films from the United States.

“These ten short films bring a much-needed positive energy to the world,” says Nicholas Mason, founding director of the festival.

Each screening runs about 2 hours and 34 minutes with an intermission. Audience members will vote for Best Film and Best Actor, with results combined worldwide to decide the winners. Every finalist film is automatically Oscar-qualified.

The screenings take place at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library, 475 Moe Road, Clifton Park. The library serves residents of Clifton Park and Halfmoon with programs, events, and resources for all ages.
