Clifton Park’s North Country Commons Getting a Glow Up

The North Country Commons, an important part of Clifton Parker’s lives on Route 146, is growing. As 2024 continues, this well-known shopping center is getting a bunch of new businesses that should give that plaza a new lease on life.

As of right now, two new renters have already moved in, giving the area new life.

New: Flipside Gaming

Flipside Gaming, with its vast array of games, offers something for everyone – from the casual player to the hardcore gamer. It’s the perfect place for Shen students to unwind after a long day of studies, offering a welcoming atmosphere where they can dive into the newest video games, explore exciting board games, or even delve into the strategic world of trading card games.

New: Goldfish Swim School

At the same time, the Goldfish Swim School is making waves with its brand-new swimming pool, which gives our young swimmers a safe and fun place to splash around and learn.

The Goldfish Swim School in Clifton Park’s North Country Commons is creating quite the buzz among Shenendehowa families. This state-of-the-art swim facility offers a golden opportunity for Shen students to dive into swimming lessons, refine their strokes, or simply enjoy the pleasure of swimming in a safe, fun environment. With its warm and welcoming atmosphere, expert instructors, and a focus on building water confidence and skills, Goldfish Swim School is swiftly becoming a favored aquatic destination for Shen families looking to encourage a lifelong love of swimming in their children. Coming: Dogtopia & Smoke Shop

A new dog daycare, spa, and grooming chain, Dogtopia, is going to offer its services to our pet friends. Imagine a spot in the middle of Clifton Park where your dog can meet new people, play, and get lots of attention.

It’s bittersweet and ironic to see the famous Upstate Concert Hall has been turned into a brand-new drinking center. This new building is a toast to the future while also honoring the memories of bands and other events that used to happen there.

Making things more interesting, a new smoke shop is also set to open. Details are still being kept secret, but it will definitely add something new and interesting to our local shopping.

The Ocean State Job Lot, Cartwheels Gymnastics, CrossFit House Party, and the eco-friendly Clifton Park Bottle & Can Retrieval Center are just a few of the new places that will be making our list of long-time favorites.

North Country Commons isn’t just getting fixed up; it’s becoming a lively hub that matches the lively spirit of Clifton Park. There are a lot of different services and things to do in our town, and each new store has its own particular style.

For those who live in Clifton Park, the new neighborhood shopping area is ready for you to explore, treat yourself, and enjoy. It looks like 2024 will be a great year for finding fun things right here in our own home!
