Clifton Park (unofficial) Theme Song

[Verse 1]
North of Albany where the Mohawk River flows
Lies a quiet town that everybody knows
Fifteen miles of trails where the fireflies dance
Old Vischer Ferry, apple orchards in the fall romance.
Shen kids play ball at the Common ground
Neighbors wave from front porches when you roll through town

[Chorus]
Clifton Park, my Clifton Park
A great place to live, work, and play!
Where the maple leaves turn gold and the good times stay
Oh Clifton Park, our Clifton Park
When the big world spins me 'round and 'round
I point my old pickup northbound
Back to Clifton Park… my hometown <3

[Verse 2]
I left at twenty-one, chasin' city lights and dreams
But the neon faded fast like a worn-out pair of jeans
Mama’s Sunday dinners and daddy’s stories 'bout the past
Groom's Tavern tales that always seemed to last
Summers full of barbecues, winters by the fire glow
From Halfmoon to Rexford, that’s the only place I know

[Chorus]
Clifton Park, my Clifton Park
A great place to live, work, and play!
Where the maple leaves turn gold and the good times stay
Oh Clifton Park, sweet Clifton Park
When the big world spins me 'round and 'round
I point my ol' pickup northbound
Back to Clifton Park… my hometown heart!

[Bridge]
It ain’t Nashville lights or a big ol’ Texas town
But the Lord blessed this corner of the Empire State ground
Where roots run deeper than the river runnin’ by
And every sunset whispers, don’t you pass us by

[Chorus]
Clifton Park, my Clifton Park
Lord, I thank You every single day
For givin’ me these roots that never fade away
Oh Clifton Park… take me home
Yeah, I’m comin’ home… to Clifton Park.. Spark (dot com).
