Business Listing Correction and Removal Policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
Clifton Park Spark, operated by 3tone Digital, aims to maintain a useful and accurate local business directory. A business owner, authorized representative, or person whose personal information appears in a listing may request a correction or removal review.
1. Requests we accept
You may ask us to:
- correct inaccurate or outdated listing information;
- mark a business as closed, moved, or operating under a new name;
- review an ownership or listing-claim dispute;
- remove personal contact information that should not be public; or
- remove a standard business-directory listing.
2. How to submit a request
Submit the request through the Business Listing Correction and Removal Request form or email info@cliftonparkspark.com.
Include:
- the business name and listing URL;
- your name, role, and relationship to the business;
- the requested correction or removal and a short explanation;
- a business-domain email address or other reasonable proof of authority, when available; and
- supporting documentation if the public information is disputed.
Do not send government identification, complete payment-card numbers, account passwords, or other sensitive information unless we specifically request an appropriate and secure form of verification.
3. Verification and review
We may verify the request using a business-domain email, a callback to a publicly listed business number, public records, documentation, or another reasonable method. We may ask for more information when ownership is disputed or the request appears fraudulent.
We will review complete requests in good faith and respond as reasonably practical. Submitting a request does not guarantee a particular outcome. We may preserve information when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute documentation, legal compliance, or the exercise or defense of legal rights.
4. What removal means
When we approve removal of a standard directory listing, we will remove or suppress that listing from the public directory and take reasonable steps to prevent routine imports from recreating it. Search engines, web archives, caches, social platforms, and third-party sites are outside our control and may continue to display older copies or links for a period of time.
Removal of a directory listing does not automatically remove:
- a separately published news article, review, opinion, public-record report, or historical archive;
- a comment or submission made by another person;
- information on a government, search-engine, social-media, or third-party website; or
- internal records we reasonably need for legal, security, payment, or suppression purposes.
Requests involving separate editorial content will be reviewed with appropriate consideration for accuracy, newsworthiness, public interest, and applicable law.
5. Paid listings
Canceling a paid plan and removing a directory listing are separate actions. Cancel a subscription through our contact form or by emailing info@cliftonparkspark.com to stop future charges. Removing a listing does not by itself cancel an active subscription or reverse a payment.
6. Abuse of the process
Do not submit a removal request while impersonating a business owner, competitor, employee, customer, or government official. We may reject fraudulent or abusive requests and preserve related records for security or legal purposes.
