Hence my last name, I’m mostly Italian. I grew up on pasta, more pasta, and pizza.
I moved to California in my 20s, I lived there for a whole decade and truly missed good Italian food more than most things that people who move across the country typically miss.
I’m a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to pizza. I make my own, I’m getting better at it but sometimes I just don’t want to be bothered and order out. There are some really good options around here, Caputo’s Pizzeria is really good when it comes right out of the oven, Venezia Pizza & Pasta has giant pizzas that are great for parties, but only one pizza place can take home the “best pizza in Clifton Park” trophy, and that’s Bella Lucia Pizzeria.
At first I was just enamored with their Grandma Pizza, a unique rectangular pizza mostly simply layered with mozzarella, sauce, and basil – but pretty much every pizza, entree, and side that Bella Lucia serves has been top-notch.
Not only is their service really good, their prices and delivery rate/time are totally reasonable. Don’t sleep on their sauce and meatballs either 🤤, they might be are better than my mother’s.
Oh yea unfortunately, they’re now closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but hey Monday and Tuesday are historically days that I “eat healthier” anyways. But when they are opened, I encourage you to give Bella Lucia a shot if you haven’t already!
If you have a favorite pizza place, send us a DM so I can give it a shot.
